Yay!!!

I got my ring back last night.. Well, I didnt- Andrew did. He went into Diamonds International in his electrician-wear, picked it up and wore it on his pinkie finger untill I saw him later that day. Slightly dangerous, but nothing bad happened. Im so happy that I get to wear it again- It was gone for a week and 2 days!!! I havent been thinking about the wedding too much recently- but thats probably because the (what seems to be) perfect ceremony location has popped up... Its a beautiful wedding garden which I thought would be perfect ANYWAY, but i read on the website that they are getting a little cute church in 'the near future'!!! ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!! I really want to get married in a church because Im completely christian, just not so sure about which denomination- deffinately protestant though. So a church that belongs to a wedding garden would obviously be non-denominational and therefore perfect for Andrew and I :)

I am probably the most efficient person you'll meet- maybe. So efficient that up untill last wednesday i had almost everything planned for my wedding, in my head. One phone call destroyed it ALL! Andrew rang st pauls anglican church in cleveland and they said we couldnt get married in their cute chapel unless we were anglican- and we really dont have a personal denomination...so my plans have to be restarted. I wanted a cute church that is local (the redlands) and there is one in tingalpa but i really want to have a wedding super close to home. So tomorrow Im going to the mt cotton rainforest gardens to see if anything there is suitable. Gr, isnt it annoying how some silly woman can frustrate you so much? I was almost crying today when I was at Andrews because I had no idea where we were going to get married- so stupid considering this wedding is a year and a half away! Atleast i have a honeymoon destination that seems unchanging... its sooo perfect! My mum has been there so i know its good. Its on a lagoon that is right next to a beach! :) I think i'll go on a ten day honeymoon too... itll be my longest holiday ever and ill have lots of holidayness feelings about it. When i go on holidays for like a week, i always count down the days ":( only 6 days till I have to go back" etc and its really depressing. haha... i sound so rambling-ish when I read this in my head. haha... today, i actually told andrew that i didnt want to have a wedding... he wasnt impressed due to previous years of me begging him to propose-well, not QUITE begging.... but anyway, I must go and rest my poor obsessive compulsive mind. :) Love, emily.

Engaged.

Ok, so I got engaged almost 2 weeks ago :) I have the prettiest ring ever.... and i miss it because its currently being resized. We are getting married in March 2010, but ive started planning already anyway. We can't have the wedding at the church we wanted because they make you use their anglican priest. So Im currently searching for a garden or a heritage building :)

Days off work.

Ok, it feels REALLY weird, but Ive had the last 2 days off work and am not working untill Monday! I usually work all the time! Tomorrow I'm seeing Jo- yay, and then am going to Andrew's youth. Andrew and I are in the process of planning our weekend. We're going to have an 'us' day on saturday- which means green grass, and relaxedness...possibly involving book shopping too. :) that will be fun fun. Well, Ive got to go watch something with mum now... so i will write in this 'blog' at a later date:)

Back from Victoria.

Got back from Victoria last night. It was nice to see Andrew again, but i do miss being there. It was sooo cold...its weird to think that somewhere in AUSTRALIA could be so cold. Life is hard to get back into once you've been somewhere else, kind of removed from your life. Lucky Ive got wednesday, Thursday and Friday off this week.

A letter to myself at 12.

If I could write a letter to my 12 year old self....

Dear Me.
I am your older self, to prove it- go check your diary with the dog and cat on the front... its from grade 5 and theres not an entry that doesnt mention Daniel.
Make the most of grade 7- you will look back on it as the best year of your schooling.
Don't be scared to play spin the bottle... you love it!
Your hair is absolutely beautiful and you grow to love it- so try and start now- your going to need to love it in grade 8 and 9.
Don't believe religious tradition- God is more allowing than you think and you only think your not adequate right now.
Don't bother with Matthew De Vries in grade 8... he turns out gay and a better one comes along later. Don't push Andrew off that stool in your room, near the bookcase- you regret it later so much. Your graduation dress is better than most people's so stop worrying.
Stay in contact with Amber- no matter what!
Tamagotchis really aren't as fun as they seem. Please don't get so upset about Angela's disinterest in you... you grow not to care and she turns out nothing like you in the end.

Hey.
Today I didnt really do much at all. I went to work with mum at 6.30 am (!) but left at 10 and went to Andrew's mum's house. We then went to Andrew's mum's in wynnum which is still being built. Its really nice, and BIG! It'll be fun to have parties there :) like an engagement party! Id invite so many people... since this blog is just for me i will write my guest list :)
